"Gear Sentry" Landing Gear Failsafe System

• Unit Specifications:

   

  • Retract system failsafe and monitoring

  • Unit installs between the receiver and the retract servo  or gear sequencer.

  System features include:

   

• Gear extension "failsafe".

• System leak detection.

• User friendly 2 button programming.

  • Fully programmable "failsafe" and "low" pressure ("leak") detection settings.

  • Optional audible alarm upon activation of "failsafe" condition (standard unit only).

  • Unit has indicators for low air pressure condition, letting the pilot know if he has forgot to charge the system or if there is a leak that would cause an un-safe flight condition.

  •  Unit will not allow retraction of gear unless safe (user programmed) air pressure is in system.

  • Once failsafe has been activated, gear will not retract until safe pressure has been returned to system, and the gear switch is in the "down" position.

•  Gear switch safety system will not allow the gear to retract in the event of an accidental  "gear up" switch when transmitter is turned on. The unit must receive a valid "gear down switch" position from the receiver before the gear can be retracted. This feature may be disabled if desired or if your gear sequencer has this feature.

  • Programmable delay timer to allow for accidentally turning on receiver before transmitter. Retract servo will stay in the down position when RX switch is turned on first. Timer allows for up to 5 seconds to turn on transmitter after RX has been turned on.

  • Unit compatible with all radios
